Registration and attendance
Registration for an event is binding and becomes effective on receipt of confirmation from the organiser. The number of places is limited. The organiser reserves the right to refuse registrations.
The event fees are due upon presentation of the respective invoice. Attendance is only possible after payment of the invoice.
Cancellation of attendance
Any cancellation on the part of the attendee must be within the time limit set by the organiser, either in writing or by email. The full event fee is charged in the event of non-appearance. Registered persons who are unable to attend may always send a substitute.
Should the event be cancelled by the organiser, any event fees already paid will be refunded. No further claims can be made.
The organiser is entitled to make visual recordings of the event and its attendees for the purpose of publishing and documenting association activities.
The organiser reserves the right to publish a list of event attendees (name and company name of the person concerned).
The organiser accepts no liability for accidents and injuries, loss or theft of objects and vehicles which attendees bring with them. The organiser accepts no liability for any damage caused directly or indirectly by attendees.
Place of Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes directly or indirectly arising from the contractual relationship is Hamburg.
Compliance Programme of the Association
All attendees of a German Coffee Association event must acknowledge the Compliance Programme concerning the proper, antitrust behaviour of the Association. You can find the Compliance Programme in the "The Association / Statutes" section of the German Coffee Association website.
If a person is excluded from attendance at the event by the German Coffee Association on the basis of failure to accept the compliance guidelines, any event fees falling due will however still be invoiced.
